The leader of the SP Group, Taulant Balla, gave a statement to the media after the meeting of the Conference of Speakers this Wednesday, regarding developments in the Assembly.
Balla also spoke about the DP's request for the dismissal of President Bajram Begaj. He said that the request will be rejected and that the President will not be dismissed.
"The violation is confirmed by the Constitutional Court, not this person," he stressed, referring to the leader of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi.
Journalists: Why isn't an investigative commission being set up regarding all these accusations against the Albanian Head of State, Bajram Begaj?
Balla : I haven't received a request for a commission. What is the procedure? But for this part, I don't give a damn.
Regarding the October 17 protest in Skanderbeg Square in Tirana, he said: We Albanians are characterized by patriotism, unity makes strength, said Skanderbeg! This is not partisan, whoever has their heart in the right place will be there. I will be there and I will express my solidarity. We will be there to send a message of solidarity to the 4 commanders, but also to the blood shed.
