Gazment Bardhi, head of the DP Parliamentary Group, demanded during the plenary session that the Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu, be held accountable for the violence that the Police exercised against citizens during the January 24 protest.
Bardhi asked Koçi to clarify the Assembly on the use of expired tear gas against citizens.
"Provide explanations for the police violence led by a criminal mastermind like Ilir Proda. Provide explanations for the expired gas that was thrown at citizens, who are still suffering the consequences," Bardhi said in the plenary session.
The head of the DP parliamentary group also ironized the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi, regarding the session's agenda.
