The former democratic deputy, Rudina Hajdari, has stated that former president Lulzim Basha and former prime minister Sali Berisha should take steps back so that the Albanian right can be an alternative to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Hajdari emphasized that protests can also be the right tool for solving the situation.
At a time when the DP is divided into three camps, Hajdari described as personal initiatives of certain individuals the last efforts of that part of the official right that demands the holding of elections for the new leader.
As for Lulzim Basha's return to the political scene, Rudina Hajdari says that the former president's political tactics are easy to read.
" I see the return as a prediction that was made even by different analysts. In his kind of politics, he is an amateur. He and Rama are consumed. His desire to return, a sick ambition to be in charge of DP. While no one wants it," Hajdari said.
Although she herself has aligned herself with the democrats who support Sali Berisha, Hajdari called for both the former prime minister and Lulzim Basha to step back and make way for new figures in the Democratic Party.
