The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, has responded to Berisha's accusations, with the latter saying that Beci is being held hostage with a very serious file by Rama.
He did not choose to deal with any accusations directly addressed to him. The mayor of Shkodra said that some choose to curse and talk, while he and his team have chosen to work.
"Everyone does what they know how to do best, someone does it better to talk and curse. What we know how to do best is to do the work. That work is the best answer for Shkodra. Shkodra does not need a political temperature so much as it needs a work motivation. We have the entrance of Shkodra, we have the entrance of peace, this investment that we started today is the Shiroka-Zogaj investment. We are cleaning the lake. Is there a more beautiful, more peaceful answer for the city than this?" said Beci.
Mayor Benet Beci was closely inspecting the start of works on a new project on Shiroka Street, where a new bicycle lane and panoramic lakeside pedestrian path are being built, replacing the stone slabs that were causing inconvenience to bicycle users.
