The Legal Representative of the Democratic Party, Rezart Kthupi, commented on the protest of Berisha's militants in front of SPAK, while the former Prime Minister appeared today at the Special Prosecution Office.
He stated that the court's decisions should only be implemented, while adding that Berisha's "war" is totally empty.
"Court decisions do not need to be challenged, so this shows that they can be implemented. At the end of the day, it turns out that this decision could have been implemented at that time. They fought a year and a half in vain to get to where they were at the beginning. So the court's decision is the court's decision and it must be implemented ," he told ABC News.
Kthupi also said that former Prime Minister Berisha's behavior towards SPAK does not add any votes to him. According to him, the protest in front of SPAK is simply a political use and has no value whatsoever.
"Berisha has chosen this collision course. But SPAK remains a valued body where information is requested, so we have a duality for SPAK. Protesting in front of SPAK is simply a political use and has no value whatsoever. Today as we speak, SPAK is the most trusted body. So I think it is an unproductive activity. This does not add votes for the Democratic Party, much less for Mr. Berisha. His behavior towards SPAK does not add votes. The issue of the investigation is extended to the political level and Berisha should have made a choice in time to pave the way, as far as the legal part is concerned, I think there is such evidence to take the case to trial. I think there is sufficient evidence to subject it to trial..." , said Kthupi.
