On August 4, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha called a meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party. Through an announcement, it was learned that the focus of the meeting will be the analysis of the May 14 elections, while among other things, Berisha orders that all members of do their best to be present at the Council meeting.

The presidency of the Democratic Party takes a decision on the initiation of the internal analysis and the calling of the National Council. The Democratic Party at the meeting of the Presidency decided to start the process of its internal analysis, where the directions and modalities to be followed were approved.
The presidency also decided to call a meeting of the National Council on Friday at 19:00 for the approval of the relevant documents.
