The Secretary of Public Relations in the Democratic Party, Edvin Kulluri, said that the issue of former Prime Minister Berisha is not an issue that interests the public, but only his supporters.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he said that the opposition people are bigger than Berisha and the latter should not seek to decide on everything himself.
He emphasized that the co-chairman of the Electoral Reform Commission belongs to the PD and as long as this political force is led by Lulzim Basha, then Enkelejd Alibeaj cannot be deprived of this right.
"The Electoral Reform Commission has always been established with the approval of the Assembly. So the Commission is co-directed by SP and DP. As long as DP is led by Basha, there is no other way. Tomorrow they run away and join Nard Ndoka's Party.
So who did these deputies ask when they were voted? They have the majority in the commissions. This has to do with Berisha's sick ego to put him in the majority everywhere. There is no parliament, but Berisha does not agree that he disrupts the session.
Are we to blame for Yuri Kim's attacks? The trial against Blinken, the war he opened to the UN, the EU, the OSCE, are we to blame? Berisha is not an issue that interests the public, but the supporters he has. This does not implicate DP, it does not implicate the opposition people. The opposition people are bigger than Berisha" , said Kulluri.
