The opposition will hold a protest on Wednesday, December 27 in front of the Supreme Court, where the trial will take place to examine the issue of the legitimacy of the seal of the Democratic Party.
The day of the protest was announced by the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, from the gathering that is taking place in front of the Presidency of the Assembly, where at the same time the Council of Mandates is considering the SPAK's request for the removal of his immunity, which would pave the way for his arrest.
In addition to this protest, Berisha called on the citizens to be present every Thursday in the gatherings that will take place in front of the Parliament.
“On December 27, every democrat in front of the Supreme Court where Edi Rama ordered the execution of our identity. We will stay. We will stay and win. Next Thursday all before the Monist Parliament. These look strong but these are rots. I invite you on Thursday and every Thursday in front of the Parliament, for pluralism, for democracy. I call on every Albanian citizen who loves this country to stand up. What should Albania suffer more than losing 35% of boys and girls, men and women in 10 years", said Berisha.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha addressed the hundreds of protesters who joined the rally called by Reestablishment in front of the Presidency of the Assembly, warning of the end of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Drawing a parallel with the year 1997, where he was personally stripped of his immunity, Berisha said that the Democratic Party will rise as it did after that challenge, winning power by vote.
“A political prosecutor, the executioner of the State Security accused Sali Berisha of crimes against humanity and the parliament removed his immunity. At that time, they thought that the revenge of the fathers came to extinguish the ideals of Albanian freedom, but they were wrong. We started with 30 in the courtyard of the headquarters, we became 300, we became 3 thousand, 30 and 300 thousand and we were voted back to power. Today we are here for the ideals of freedom, we are here at a turning point that history invites us to. We are here in an oath that our present and our future require. We are here to communicate to Edi Rama, this fierce enemy of the Albanian being, that you are condemned for life because of the vote of the Albanians. That Edi Rama, son and grandson of an executioner, has been behaving like an executioner with the Albanian vote for years. Albanians have been voting for years and you take out the machetes of crime and gangs to execute their vote. For years, you don't know any law, norm, standard or morality for your chair. Believing that the Democrats were oppressed. Edi Rama has come to an end. I guarantee you that never again, never again will you dare to touch the vote of the Albanians." he added.
Emphasizing that what is expected from the opposition is a turn to face the regime in the square, Berisha declared that "freedom fighters" will prevent Prime Minister Rama from finding a place to enter thanks to civil disobedience.
“What is required of us today? A turning point is required, in which we must come to Maidan Square as men and women sworn to freedom, as freedom fighters. We must come out with the oath that we give our lives and never forgive our vote. We have to come out with an oath, that an enemy who expelled 1 million and 300 thousand Albanians in 10 years, will answer to one. Edi Rama is your end. Gather and crouch wherever you like. A few weeks ago I warned you that what was being seen in parliament was only the beginning. You will see the disobedience of these freedom fighters. Find a mouse hole to get into." Berisha said among other things.
