Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in his daily speech from what is now known as the "Road of Hope" has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of having put the country's justice system under control.
According to Berisha, Rama has achieved this with the cooperation of George Soros.
The former prime minister said that since Edi Rama, Albania today is ranked in the worst reports of freedom and democracy.
"Edi Rama managed to replace the essence of this system with the narco-state, with the regime of gangs, crime, unrestrained theft of Albanians. In this achievement, Edi Rama first succeeded in establishing a devastating report in Albania for freedom, for democracy, for the dignity of Albanians, the report of turning crime into vote and vote into crime. Dear friends, without the free vote there is no future, without the free vote there is no dignity, without the free vote there is no prosperity, without the free vote there is no development. "Edi Rama, after the complete control of the free vote, put the justice system under complete control, with the help of the super-speculator of the planet, the monster George Soros," said Berisha.
The former prime minister has compared today's justice system to that of Enver Hoxha's time, calling it a corrupt justice system.
"Today, Edi Rama's Albania has a justice that is just as controlled and many times more corrupt than the justice that Enver Hoxha had. I say corrupt in money, because politically it and this are the two most corrupt justices that Europe has ever had. De facto, Edi Rama brought justice under control and almost destroyed it for Albanian citizens. Today, Albanians are the only nation that has terribly lost the right to a fair legal process. In order to bring a case to trial, they have to pay bribes," said Berisha.
