The well-known lawyer, Kreshnik Spahiu has warned of "earthquakes" for the corrupt. During an interview for "SOT" newspaper, Spahiu stated that SPAK and the head of this institution, Altin Dumani, are not supported by Prime Minister Edi Rama, but by the USA.
Even Spahiu emphasized that Duman was not Rama's favorite and added that his appearance in the media was aimed at convincing the public that he was independent.
He added that he believed that in February SPAK would undertake three major strikes against important political factors. Jurist Spahiu has stated that the Electoral Reform cannot be done by SP-PD and PL, which according to him are the ones who sank the electoral system.
According to him, the Electoral Reform should be implemented by the people through a referendum. Likewise, he also added that the three main parties in the country are interested in immigrants not voting, as this, according to him, would be the end of them.
- Mr. Spahiu, the head of SPAK from Shkodra gave signals again that the fight against impunity will continue, while it is a priority for him and the institution he leads. Was there anything that surprised you in Altin Duman's statement?
It was expected and a cautious statement. What stands out is the objective in which Duman has set himself, it seems that he is aiming to create an independent profile in relation to politics. It also identifies some problems that people do not know, there is a higher expectation than the capacity of the prosecutor's office.
SPAK is not a magic hatchet that can solve all disputes in Albania, so it must be selective in what it deals with, it must have quality proceedings and fulfill the expectations of those who have been impunity until yesterday. I think there will be a triple whammy, killing 3 birds with one stone. Today SPAK has landed in the offices of the Municipality of Tirana, implying that the investigation and the message that was given to Meta can be expanded. The month of February will be a month of fire, which with the issues that will be pursued will also eclipse that of Berisha.
-What do you predict will happen in February?
I predict there will be 3 big hits. I think that SPAK itself feels that it is a reliable institution now and maybe the internationals are asking them to go public. The best defense SPAK can get is the media and the public. The situation has changed, until yesterday these are no longer the prosecutors who used to ride the bus, but they have a protective infrastructure with cars and escorts.
It is the same prosecutors who work in other conditions and circumstances and it is very positive that they are also showing another side of the coin, which they could not make possible in the difficult conditions. At its core, in all Dumani's speech, it was to convince the public that this SPAK is not controlled by Edi Rama's regime. Altin Dumani was not Rama's favorite and vice versa. There are several antagonistic powers at the moment, serving the public and independence. So I think that Altin Dumani and SPAK is not controlled by Rama's regime, but by the USA.
- Regarding the Electoral Reform, the socialist co-president, Damian Gjiknuri, said that the opposition is busying itself with a seat. Have a comment?
The three parties are fighting for a seat. In fact, the three parties are fighting for one seat. This is the biggest disaster that happens to the political situation. To the shame of the reform itself, those who have sunk the electoral system want to do it. Those who have consumed it cannot reform it. Those who have sunk the electoral system cannot provide new alternatives.
The only ones who cannot do electoral reform in Albania are the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party. We want an electoral reform. Albania is the only country in Europe that wants to make an electoral reform every 4 years. PD was in power, she has made it like this. What will SP do, when it prevented new parties from entering. we are a country that has more emigration and the vote of those people who live in emigration is not recognized. Electoral reform can only be carried out by the people through a referendum. Only the people can bring change.
- In the meantime, let's stop a bit on sports. It is said that Albanian fans are unable to secure a ticket to support their flag. Could there have been so many requests?
We are dealing with an injustice done to the fans. Because 500 applications were made and they were negative. Albanians must understand that FIFA and EUFA are two planetary mafia organizations where the interests of all oligarchs of Europe are connected. A part of this mafia organization is also the trading of tickets which will be sold at a price 10-fold or even 100-fold. What we did wrong and the applications of Albanian fans were rejected is that we applied as Albanian fans.
If they had applied as German fans, we would have secured the ticket. So UEFA's priority has been German fans and residents in the respective cities. There will be another round that will be more limited and those who will try to apply should not apply as an Albanian fan. We went wrong, missing the first opportunity and we hope to fix it with a trick by applying as a German fan.
