The European Union has definitively blocked Edi Rama’s plans to merge the Albanian Public Radio and Television, which paved the way for the construction of towers on RTSH territory. During discussions on the EBAR report in Brussels, Albanian negotiators were asked about the prime minister’s video in which he spoke about the merger of public media. The EU and EBU have demanded that RTSH be turned into a public service according to the BBC model, with a board elected by consensus and the opposition with veto power. As the first sign of the implementation of this plan, the resignation of the general director Eni Vasili, placed at the head of RTSH with Rama’s consent, is expected. Meanwhile, the project for the towers has been canceled after Brussels was alarmed by Albanian media, especially “Pamfleti”.
The European Union has definitively blocked Edi Rama's plan to dissolve the public television and thus create the possibility of taking its land for the construction of towers.
As it is learned, in the discussions that took place in Brussels regarding the approval of the EBAR report, Albanian negotiators were asked about the video of Edi Rama in which he spoke about the merger of Public Radio and Television.
After the question, a comment was made stating that the existence of a public information service is a European standard that must be implemented. Meanwhile, apart from this case, the EBU, the television broadcasting authority, has been more detailed on this issue, expressing in a document its concern regarding the threat of Edi Rama.
The European Union has urged Albania to turn RTSH into a public media outlet following the BBC model, proposing that the plan be launched immediately.
There is even a draft for this, which envisages that Parliament, following the model of the electoral and territorial reform committees, will create a working group among all parties, where the opposition will have the right of veto regarding the re-establishment of Albanian Radio Television.
The plan foresees the establishment of a board that will not be elected by majority vote in the Assembly, but by consensus from all parties. This plan foresees the removal of the current Steering Council and of course Eni Vasili, who came to head RTSH with the consent of Edi Rama and his family.
The EU instance has been ultimatum, as it has been learned that RTSH has a plan to transform the territory where the building is located into a construction tower. Citing concerns raised by the Albanian media, especially "Pamphlet", questions in Brussels have also included the possibility of erecting a tower, which has alarmed the government negotiators.
It is precisely the raising of this alarm that seems to have caused the plan to build the towers to be canceled, as it could further aggravate the situation.
Government representatives have expressed agreement on a consensual plan to turn RTSH into a consensual media outlet, where all parties have the right to representation.
Precisely to give a signal regarding this issue, in the coming days Eni Vasili is expected to resign from the position of General Director of RTSH. An act that will then reopen the entire procedure for re-electing the governing bodies. After Vasili's departure, it is expected that the Assembly will discuss re-electing the Governing Council with a different formula, that is, by consensus, not just with majority votes. From the preliminary draft, it is expected that the Council will not have 7 members, but there are also rumors that it will have five, where they will be well-known names in Albanian culture and journalism, and not people who work in party offices./ Pamphlet

Eni Vasili ka heq dy drejtore se nuk i firmosnin tenderat. Njerin e kishte dhe shokun e vellait po normal qe sdo futej ne burg per leket e drejtoreshes. E ka bere RTSH-ne si prone te veten. Turp i madh! Keshilli Drejtues ja fut gjume ne rastin me te mire.

O Eni Vasili, nuk ecën përpara duke iu lëpirë eprorëve. Lëpirja ndaj Linda Ramës do të të kthehet në bumerang të madh. Iu lëpive PD-së në 1997, pastaj LSI-së, dolle “e pavarur”, dhe tani po i servilosesh Linda Ramës me të dyja duart. Me bandat e LSI-së në hetimin tatimor që ke plaçkitur bizneset bashkë me vëllain gjobaxhi dhe shokët e tij, as vilat, as pasuritë nuk do t’i gëzoni dot.

Eni e ka meritu ate vend, ka ardh aty e re fare e njome, aty i mesoi gjerat e rendesishme te jetés, eshte ..., eshte kapur per flokesh me koleget, etj, etj. prandaj mos shani se eshte gjynof. Tani i erdhi dita te perfitoje ça, se gallofi nuk do jeté gjithmone kryeminîster.
Eni dikur donte te behej farmaciste, po spati fat se sponsor-farmacisti plak nuk i mbijetoj dot nje aksidenti. Rahmet paste. Humbi farmaceutika por fitoi gazetaria. Po me mire se si farmaciste do kishte marre ne qafe njerez, se keshtu te pakten mori ne qafe vetem RTSH-ne.

Pellumbesha pasi e verviti poshte e larte u be drejtoreshe. Kur shkonte ne plazh shullohej ne diell dhe e ferkonte duke i kenduar, pellumbeshe moj pellumbeshe ishe puntore e u bere drejtoreshe. Kurveria morale e trupore, grabitja universale, degjenerimi edukimit e grykesia pa fund deri ne krim nuk ka te sosur. Veting parash e pronash, veting moral hic, veting kriminal hic, do i dale fundi ne hic. Ne Shqiperi kuptimi i fjales kurveri eshte simbol i fisnikerise.

Keshilli Drejtues i RTSH inekzistent, keshilli me i dobet i 20 viteve te fundit. Sherbetore dhe puthadore te Eni Vasilit. Asnje reagim per pislliqet e drejtoreshes, per tenderat, per festivalin e Pranveres qe do behet komplet jasht thua se nuk ka RTSH regjisor, skenograf, ndricim, foni dhe grafike. Kryetari, nje dordolec qe hiqet si europian por qe eshte copa e katunarit qe i ka ardh dita dhe qe vetem i sheh te gjitha dhe hesht. Antaret e keshillit spo i permend se me dhimbsen.
