Former minister Aldo Bumçi has commented on SPAK's request for the tightening of security measures against former prime minister Sali Berisha. According to him, this request was made by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Bumçi said that Rama is the one who wants Berisha isolated and to stop his communication.
He also said that SPAK has revealed that it is a tool of Prime Minister Edi Rama, which he uses according to his interests.
" Going abroad is a kind of restriction. The constitutional norm exists. This norm has been applied in every case. Take the case of Saimir Tahir. The norm is written, implemented. The prosecution had two alternatives to implement the norm. The first was to turn to the Assembly to change the norm, but they are afraid that they will leave, as in the case of Ahmetaj.
Or turn to the CJK and say that the norm is correct, but the implementation is wrong. What about the other side who look at a written and implemented norm, is it not in its right? SPAK's request is Edi Rama's request. Because he exposed himself to attack the opposition. SPAK can investigate Berisha 24 hours a day, they can call Berisha every day for investigation and he will go.
SPAK has never called Berisha to investigate him. Why SPAK has exposed a tool of Edi Rama. There are no restrictions on investigations in Albania since 2012. Why do they demand political non-communication? Only Rama is interested in political non-communication. Who is interested in isolating the leader of the opposition? It is in Rama's interest to isolate him and not communicate ," said Bumçi in "Euronews".
