The situation in the Lezha District, where 7 parliamentary mandates are at stake, seems to have become tense in recent hours, while the parliamentary elections are only 5 days away.
Initially, it was Lulzim Basha who denounced the attempted vote-buying by the Socialists online, emphasizing that the Euro-Atlantic Coalition candidate in this district had caught the deputy mayor and another local official red-handed buying votes.
But the head of the Municipality of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, in a post on social networks, accuses gangs affiliated with the DP of provoking a climate of tension. Ndreu says that on Monday evening they blocked the road with thugs to the Deputy Mayor of Lezha, Fatjon Zefi, and the Chairman of the PS Kolsh, Andi Marku.
"Caravans of cars with militants and weapons move at night, exerting pressure. Why shouldn't we allude that they are exerting pressure and moving around buying votes?!", Ndreu writes on social networks.
