The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, reacted to the proposals of the allies of the Democratic Party for the unification of the opposition.
"A federation and a cooperation is necessary to produce the necessary energy for the removal of this corrupt and incriminated government to the core, but this starts by leaving aside personal interest", said Basha.
According to Basha, the vetting of politicians and open lists put an end to an incriminated and corrupt politics.
"The vetting of politicians puts an end to the debate about who is corrupt and who is not, who is connected to crime and who is not. DP has made clear political decisions and confirmed them in the assembly of September 2, what people expect from us is not to find jobs, as deputies in the next elections, what unites us is the interest of the citizens, they deserve a politics clean from crime and corruption. Open lists make this possible. Citizens deserve that immigrants have the right to vote. DP has a clear platform with the citizens and anyone who does not put personal interest first is welcome to participate," said Basha.
