The DP-supported candidate for the Municipality of Vlora, Gjergji Nika, expressed his belief that very soon Ervin Salianji will be declared an "enemy of the party".
"I think that today there is no democracy in the Democratic Party. Because from the first meeting that Mr. Salianji held, he began to be attacked and delegitimized. Even in Durrës, where the heads of the Durrës branch sent their members not to go to the meeting because it is not institutional. What institutional should the meeting be? The gentleman is the chairman of the Presidency, elected, commanded, it has nothing to do with it. He went to have a meeting with the Democrats. He neither cursed nor insulted. It is a meeting that is normally held to revive the Democratic Party. I do not see anything wrong. Not only Salianji, but anyone can have that kind of meeting.
The leadership does not want these meetings because it does not want opposing voices. It does not want opposing voices. The leadership is based on that entourage of 12-15 people who are deputies, who do not know the terrain, or more precisely do not know the changes that the terrain has undergone because they can know the terrain 10 years, 12 years, 15 years ago... We cannot do experiments every four years, the strategy must be changed. What has been started today has been done before and the result is the same. We cannot do the same thing twice that brings us the same result.

It has happened before. We have the specific case of Mr. Basha. Mr. Basha from 2021 to 2023, 2024, of the Democratic Party was, regardless of how things went, then they hit him, attacked him, smeared him so much, that they created a rage among the people that everything was real. They will start doing the same thing again.
