Edi Rama is suspected of having met with witnesses in the "Veliaj" case...
The Special Appeal hearing against Erion Veliaj continues to cause debate. In that hearing, SPAK stated that it had made discoveries and strong evidence, based on which it confirmed that Veliaj was a dangerous person and should be in prison.
But if we look carefully at the Appeals decision, apart from the previous evidence that is part of the file, there were only articles from portals and television chronicles. In the revealed decision of the Special Appeal, there are only a few pages of new evidence and SPAK has documented Veliaj's posts on social networks and articles from several portals.
“ From the minutes for the examination and receipt of data from open sources (the internet), dated 24.02.2025, kept by the investigator of the National Bureau of Investigation, an article dated 23.02.2025, published on the website of “Ora News”, entitled “My colleague has no idea who he is messing with”; where the person under investigation Erion Veliaj attacks the prosecutor Ols Dado. This is followed by an article published in the online media “CNA”, entitled “From insult to threat for Dado and Bani”, where the person under investigation Erion Veliaj, in a post dated 10.02.2025, uses offensive expressions against the prosecutor Ols Dado. This is followed by a post dated 11.02.2025, where the person under investigation Erion Veliaj uses offensive expressions against the prosecutor Ols Dado. The posts then continue on the dates "February 19, 21, 22 and 23, 2025, where the person under investigation Erion Veliaj continues to insult, but in one case also threaten, prosecutor Ols Dado ," the decision states.
But it seems that Prime Minister Edi Rama has also given the Special Prosecution some help. Yesterday when he spoke to the media, he was asked about Veliaj, but decided not to comment. So Rama left Erioni in the lurch and the latter ended up like everyone else, forgotten in the middle of nowhere. But beyond that, the file contains two episodes that were used as evidence by SPAK and Edi Rama appears in them.
One is the meeting of the SP group on February 26, where Edi Rama called Klotilda Bushka to report. The SP MP came out in the Veliaj file that he had intimidated witnesses. But shortly after SPAK's announcement, she reacted on social networks by attacking SPAK and Rama announced that he would report the next day at the group meeting. SPAK announces that it has seized the video of that session and has submitted it as evidence to the court, for intimidation of justice. More precisely, it has seized 9 minutes of the Prime Minister's speech.
" From the minutes of the audio-video review on the Youtube platform, held on 26.02.2025, by investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation, a part of the Prime Minister's speech, broadcast on the Top Channel media, entitled "I have a suggestion for SPAK" was reflected ," the decision states.
Another episode also emerges, where it is suspected that Edi Rama has met one of the witnesses of the "Veliaj" case. It is about Greta Domi. " At 10.59, February 26, Erion Veliaj talks with Ajola, regarding the morning statement by the Prime Minister. They also talk about the witness Greta, where, according to the conversation, she met with the Prime Minister. Erion Veliaj asks Ajola to contact Greta and encourage her ," the court decision states.
So the prime minister has not only forgotten Veliaj, but it seems he sank him with the stances he maintained for 1 week, until he got his claws into the municipality. /Pamphlet
