The candidate who won the Himara elections, Fredi Beleri, has reacted to the news of Jorgo Goro's resignation from the Himara Municipality.
In a post made on 'Facebook', Beleri says that Rama took two very important steps towards reality.
According to him, the prime minister learned 7 months after the elections that the citizens of Himara elected him as mayor and secondly, they sent home the previous mayor who was his chosen one.

Beleri says that Goro, despite having lost the municipal elections, hastened to announce his "resignation".

Whoever takes over as interim mayor until my release and inauguration must be one of the councilors of the municipal faction with which we won the municipal elections of May 2023. He cannot be unrelated to the vote of the people of Himara against the elections of municipal end and cannot be from another area outside the municipality of Himara.
