The Central Election Commission has given the mandate to Arkend Balla at noon today, after the resignation of Rrahman Rraje. The latter submitted his resignation from the deputy's mandate to the Assembly. Based on the verification of the SP list in the Central Election Commission, the mandate left by Rrahman Rrahja was to be taken by Arkend Balla.
Rraja announced on Saturday (July 8) that he would give up his mandate, as he felt embarrassed by the published images, and even called on his son to surrender to the police.
Rraja withdrew from politics after the violence that his son and other members of his tribe used against two cousins Bilbil and Jashar Maja. The violence against the two Maja cousins was committed after they denounced the explosions in the quarry.
Arkend Balla was 12th on the list of the Socialist Party in the Durrës district and collected 2463 votes in the 2021 elections.
