Parliamentary elections are being held on May 11th, with 11 entities competing, 3 of which are coalitions with 2 or more parties.
And while the campaign has entered its final phase, where the parties are intensifying meetings and appeals to voters to maximize votes, Berisha's Democrats seem to have a plan 'B', one they will focus on after the elections depending on the result.
A voluminous file is being enriched day by day and includes every sequence, evidence and fact related to the elections, part of which has also been deposited with SPAK. It is a file that has begun to take shape from the first day of the campaign, divided by districts. The file includes every information related to the violations identified, from the most common ones to those considered electoral crimes.
All the denunciations, from the involvement and use of the administration in the elections, pressures, electoral 'asphalt', the distribution of food products in certain areas, but also photographs and film footage of the contacts of socialist candidates for deputies, or their delegates in the districts, with elements of the underworld, seem to be the weapon that Berisha's Democrats will have in their hands after May 11. Some of the denunciations have been made public, some have been filed with SPAK and others are in the "black" file, as it is expected to be called after the parliamentary elections.

It seems that Berisha will put into operation the same strategy as that of 24 years ago, where after the 2001 elections, he denounced every electoral violation, questioning the super-majority of the Socialists at that time, which was then followed by the famous agreement with Fatos Nano, dividing some of the institutions of that time, starting with the President and ending with the Ombudsman, and the consensus election of some of the leaders who required a qualified majority.
In this context, it seems that Berisha, in addition to the plan to hope for a 3rd comeback, also has a plan 'B' ready, which will depend on the lobbying that he and his allies will do in Europe and the US. It seems that this is also the reason that the DP and its allies have signed a lobbying contract with an American company, created by former associates of Donald Trump, worth 6 million dollars, with the aim of reactions from across the Atlantic to the denunciations.
Berisha has stated several times that on May 11 there will be no statements from the US, without the last ballot box being closed and the counting process starting, where the winner will be congratulated. Here Berisha is referring to the stance taken by the US in the last elections, where, before the vote counting process started, Edi Rama and the SP were congratulated for their election victory.
On the other hand, the leader of the Democrats is using the EPP resolution as another 'weapon' regarding May 11. In case of defeat, Berisha has ready the resolution adopted at the EPP congress held in Spain, where the emphasis is placed on the danger to democracy and elections in Albania, to start a battle in the European institutions.
Although it is not known whether this strategy will have an effect or not, Berisha is prepared not to leave any trails, the same as those he once reminded Lulzim Basha, after he started the battle to take control of the party. The strongest attack he made on Basha 4 years ago was the fact that he had not denounced the electoral violations or crimes in the international chancelleries, while he had his mind on co-government. And it seems that now, the leader of the Democrats, with his political experience, is clear that in case of defeat, the only way to put sticks under Edi Rama's wheels is to act with the international factor. /Pamphlet/
