Gazment Bardhi, head of the DP Parliamentary Group, speaking about the SPAK investigation into what is known as the 'Xibraka' file, said that he was summoned to the Special Prosecution Office, but no questions were asked.
On 'Çim Peka Live' on Syri TV, Bardhi said that the prosecutor who suspended file 335/1, which is the file of the unidentified person in the cocaine laboratory investigation, Olsian Çela, was promoted to Prosecutor General.
"SPAK called me with a subpoena about this case and I went and showed up. I entered the prosecutor's office, good morning, we have reopened this case, this is the file, they told me, and they showed me several stacks of papers, which means they had studied the file, how long they had decided to reopen it.
We invited you for this matter, what do you have to say? I tell them, sorry, I have nothing to say, what I had to say I brought to you in writing.
Regarding what I have brought in writing, I ask them, do you have any questions? They say no, we have no questions. Goodbye!
"That's all there was to this issue. If you take the minutes, that's all there is to it, no questions were asked of me, no clarification was requested. They mean that they were clear, meaning the information matched," said Bardhi.
Bardhi continued by saying that two decisions, of the First Instance and the Appeals Court, state that the investigations were conducted with the aim of destroying some evidence and the entire operation, the court says, has been exposed.
" I have requested that the work of the police and prosecutors in the case be verified. The prosecutor in this case, after suspending 335/1 prosecutor Olsian Çela, became, with the vote of Edi Rama in the Assembly, Prosecutor of the Republic of Albania. Is there a higher position than in the prosecution system. So from a first instance prosecutor he was promoted to Prosecutor General ," said Bardhi.

Bardhi stated that SPAK's statement showed him that in Albania, there are untouchable people, like Edi Rama and his family, or his close associates.

Nobody knew, first of all they didn't know that there was a file with a faction, which was buried with this suspension procedure. The suspension procedure is followed, after 10 years it is very difficult to collect evidence. When you investigate for 8-9 or 10 months and you can't find the perpetrators, you take the case to rest. Let the citizens, the journalists see who the data of this file is and the impossibility of identifying them.
But if you say that you know this individual's age as 45, but you can't find his name, it means that you either know the person's identity, how long it took you to find out his age, or you have a gift that you should tell us. When the police try to identify a person they have in their photos, but can't find their identity, they ask for help from the public, help us identify him, and they even offer a reward.
And here we are talking about a criminal organization that for the first time sets up a cocaine laboratory, the prosecution has no interest in identifying these people, so why doesn't it publish the photo of the unidentified people. If there are no photos, then the photos have disappeared, because there is no surveillance report without photos. That whole announcement only proves what I said on the first day, that in Albania there are untouchable people, starting with Edi Rama, his family, or collaborators that Edi Rama considers people he needs , "said Bardhi.
