The Democratic MP has declared that the opposition will no longer boycott the elections and that it is entering the race to win.
In an interview with "Panorama", Edi Paloka also talks about the issue of Sali Berisha's "non-grata", claiming that it has practically been erased and it is only a matter of time before this becomes official.
What efforts is the DP making to remove the "non-grata" against Mr. Berisha with the return of President Donald Trump? Who are the Democrats lobbying with?
Paloka: Sali Berisha did not choose the path of lobbying, but of justice regarding the "non grata". President Trump's victory has completely changed the situation regarding this issue. When the current Secretary of State Marco Rubio was a senator, he raised the issue of the "non grata" in the US Senate, openly accusing the then administration of having used it politically to hit center-right leaders around the world. Under these conditions, I believe it is clear that Berisha's "non grata" has practically been erased and it is only a matter of time before this becomes official.
