In the campaign to win a fourth term, Prime Minister Edi Rama is waving the EU passport like a talisman, with the promise that by voting for the Socialist Party, Albanians will become European citizens with full rights by 2030.
Babloku is accompanying this with another promise, that on the first day of the closing of negotiations at the end of 2027, Albania will begin to receive 1 billion Euros each year, money that is ready on the EU table.
According to Babloku, these billions will be used for the welfare of the people, but in order to guarantee the start of issuing checks, it is required that the Socialist Party be voted in and that he be the Prime Minister of Albania.
Babloku's promise of a "magic carpet" check is so outrageous that he declares that he personally negotiated this check with EU leaders, but they will not give it if the Socialist Party does not win again.
The 1 billion Euro electoral check, which according to Babloku the EU will give us, reminds us of the "White Check" that Sali Berisha promised in 1991; spreading the lie that the US government had said it would give it, on the condition that Albanians vote for Sali Berisha.
The DP took power on March 22, 1992, but the "White Cheque" did not come; while Sali Berisha, instead, repeated the agrarian reform of 1946, donating to cooperative farmers the lands that had been expropriated from the owners by the communist government.
Sali's government closed economic enterprises, put employees on 60% assistance for 6 months, and robbed them of privatizations for "5 bucks" from the ruling DP and their friends.
He created the "new democratic justice" with a 3-month course; he allowed the construction of residential ghettos and kiosks in the middle of Tirana and other cities; and instead of the "White Cheque", he invented securities and set up pyramid schemes with which he swindled Albanians.
While Edi Rama invented the PPPs with which 1.2 billion Euros were stolen, he continued Sali Berisha's scheme for the theft of assets with "1 Euro Contracts"; he staged the theft of lands on the coast and everywhere, with the mafia scheme "Strategic Investor".
In total, during his 12 years in power, Edi Rama has signed VKM laws for the theft of 13 billion Euros with PPP and national wealth, which he has donated to oligarchs and traffickers, ministers, clients and his family members for resorts, palace complexes, towers, villas, hotels, agro-livestock farms, and now he has begun the robbery with the "Mountain Package" law.
If, during the 12 years of Edi Rama's rule, 10 billion Euros had not been stolen through corruption and evasion, as the Supreme Audit Office has discovered; there would be no need for Babloku to campaign with the '1 billion Euros' scam, which the EU will likely give us if the SP is voted in again.
Just from the donation of land and tax exemption for the Alabbar towers in Durrës, the state loses 1.3 billion Euros; while from the donation of land on the coast to oligarchs and "strategic investors" and from tax exemption for 35 years, the state loses 6.5 billion Euros in total.
Here are the billions that Babloku has extorted from Albanians and donated to oligarchs, traffickers, ministers, clients and their families; while now he has appeared before Albanians like Nastradini, with the "magic carpet" promise that if they vote for the Socialist Party, the EU will start donating 1 billion Euros every year./ Pamphlet
