The member of the Presidency of the DP, Belind Këlliçi, in a communication with the media, has accused the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, of mocking SPAK.
According to him, at a time when everyone is waiting for justice for the affair of the incinerators, Veliaj has appointed two of those accused by the opposition to the Municipality of Tirana as vice-mayors.
"Erion Veliaj, with an act of mockery and humiliation towards SPAK, has appointed two new vice-presidents of the most corrupt institution in Europe, Tirana Municipality, namely, Mrs. Frida Pashako and Mrs. Jonida Halili. Both of these citizens, representatives of municipal corruption, are subjects of SPAK due to our reports", said Kelliçi.
He further clarified that Frida Pashako was reported by the opposition for the alienation and falsification of data for the properties acquired by the Arlis Construction company, for the Square 21 complex, built on the land of the former Municipal Police.
While Jonida Halili, according to Kelliç, appears as the key point of the Tirana Municipality in the calculation of the income that should benefit from the Tirana incinerator concession.
"With this standard of humiliation towards SPAK, Erion Veliaj proves that the only people who can be affected by justice in this country are those for whom the state party gives permission. The fact that these two ladies are promoted and not investigated speaks a lot about the standard of the new justice bodies", continued Kelliçi, concluding that the PD will continue to refer to SPAK for any criminal facts.

When you are all waiting for the new justice bodies to finally do their job and react to the theft of the century through the phantom incinerator of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, with an act of mockery and humiliation towards SPAK, has appointed two deputy. the new presidents of the most corrupt institution in Europe, Tirana Municipality, respectively, Mrs. Frida Pashako and Mrs. Jonida Halili.
Both of these citizens, representatives of municipal corruption, are subject to SPAK due to our complaints in two separate cases. These facts, mentioned today in this statement, have been officially sent to the Head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, and once again I take the opportunity to guarantee the citizens of Tirana that where SPAK cannot be seen, we will. The Democratic Party will continue to officially notify this structure for any criminal fact and then the burden of proof falls on the prosecution body.
Until today, from what we have seen, it appears that SPAK has simply turned into the protective body of a criminal governing structure, directed by Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj.
