But Ilir Meta himself called him a traitor, accusing him of collaborating with SPAK in uncovering corruption cases, ties to mafia members, money laundering and hiding assets.
In this regard, with the information and evidence he submitted during interrogation, Endrit Braimllari was completely reliable and productive for BKH investigators and SPAK prosecutors, because he was Ilir Meta's most trusted person, which is why he became the party's No. 2.
The Freedom Party itself accused Endrit Braimllari of mismanagement of the party's finances when he was Secretary General and had the right to operate in the party's banks and treasury, which, according to the SPAK file, results in forgeries, concealment of donations, theft and money laundering, undoubtedly on the orders of the LSI bosses.
However, Endrit Vullnetar Braimllari, in order to save himself and leave the path to continuing in politics open, voluntarily contributed to uncovering Ilir Meta's affairs and assets, which served as some of the main evidence to arrest him.
