President Begaj said that implementing the agreement is now essential for a lasting peace. He expressed his appreciation for the mediation efforts by the United States, Qatar, Egypt and others.

"I welcome the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which marks the end of more than 15 months of conflict. I appreciate the mediation efforts by the United States, Qatar, Egypt and others. The full implementation of the agreement is essential for a lasting peace and for the relief of suffering for all those affected in the region," the head of state wrote on his "X" account.
