The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has spoken about the hacking of INSTAT's online page by "Homeland Justice".
She writes that Albania is facing two crises, that of numbers and that of cyber.
Tabaku says that this is the second year in a row that the country is under cyber attacks, but "ironically they are not bothering the government more than they are giving it one more argument to delay the census data and the next tender".
"The fear of the government with the falling numbers of Albanians, the decrease in the birth rate and a nation that is losing its youth, which leaves to grow old, is added to the fear of cyber attacks that have stripped Digital Albania of the propaganda that is sold to us every day". writes the democratic deputy.
She says that Albania's crisis, which is evidenced in every INSTAT figure, is at the same time a country cornered by cyber attacks, which, according to her, prove that the biggest hacker is corruption.
Tabak's full statement:
Number crisis and cyber crisis! For the second year in a row, our country is at the peak of cyber attacks that ironically are not bothering the government more than they are giving it one more argument to delay the census data and the next tender. As it is understood, the census data should have been published and be a real topic of debate for many decision-making that we are taking today.
If today the government is undertaking some loans, decision-making or projects for Albania, we need to know how many Albanians will be impacted, when we talk about electoral and territorial reform, there is no better instrument than the census. But, the fear of the government with the falling numbers of Albanians, the decrease in the birth rate and a nation that is losing its youth that leaves to grow old is added to the fear of cyber attacks that have stripped Digital Albania of the propaganda that is sold to us every day.
To think that all these attacks come after the government has engaged us in a project with the Artificial Intelligence of Chat GPT, while all the government's online pages are constantly proof of the inability to reflect on the mismanagement of digital Albania.
Under these conditions, the crisis of Albania, which is evidenced in every figure of INSTAT, is simultaneously the crisis of a country cornered by cyber attacks, which are mercilessly proving that the biggest hacker is corruption.
