On Monday, the democrats who support Berisha have announced that they will return to the protests in front of the Parliament. While today at 17:00 the National Council will meet and one of the points of discussion will be the protest.
Tomorrow at 16:30, DP members will gather in front of the building of plenary sessions to protest against the socialist majority, which, according to them, is violating the constitutional rights of the opposition.
The protest will be held in front of the Parliament. The exclusion of opposition deputies, the non-establishment of parliamentary investigative commissions, the non-changing composition of the Special Electoral Reform Commission are some of the reasons the opposition will protest.
Meanwhile, opposition MPs will protest inside the plenary session hall, who will again try to block the proceedings of the Assembly.
Monday's meeting is dedicated only to discussions about citizens' problems and no laws are expected to be approved, and in the situation where the Democrats will block the floor, the meeting is expected to last only a few minutes.
However, in the opposition camp, the deputies who will protest are fewer in number, as 19 DP legislators have been expelled from the socialist majority for 10 days and they cannot participate either in the session of February 5 or in the session of dated the 8th.
After the protest in front of the Parliament, the democrats will go to the street near the house of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, where as every day at 18:00 the rally in support of the opposition leader takes place.
The general secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, revealed how the opposition's action will continue. Noka revealed that the protest will include blocking and paralyzing institutions.
" Protest on Monday at 16:30, in front of the Parliament. In the framework of our opposition action and civil disobedience, in front of a Parliament that no longer belongs to Albanians, but to crime, incinerators, as was also the result of Ahmetaj's interview. The details are still unknown, tomorrow the National Council meets at 5 o'clock and one of the points of discussion will be the protest. Tomorrow there will be opposition agenda, blockages, paralysis of the institutions of this country, not only tomorrow, but continuously. This country cannot function without democracy, we will not stop ," said Noka.
Yes, yesterday MP Luan Baçi warned of protests and tests in the framework of their opposition action.
" They want to remove the DP deputies from the Parliament. Our stance will continue including all forms and means of protest. Whether it's a test, even a blockade and any kind of protest will be in our focus. It will be the presidency and the National Council that will decide on the actions that will be taken further in the meeting that will take place on Saturday ", said Baçi.
