What did Albania gain from the pact for immigrants? Rama: I didn't ask for

Prime Minister Rama has stated that he has not asked for a single penny from Italy regarding the pact for immigrants. He said that he signed the agreement with the heart and with the intention of helping his ally and friend Italy.

Rama added that he did not make any calculations, showing that he is not interested in the economic benefit from this agreement.

During his speech from the joint conference with his counterpart Giorgia Meloni in Gjadër, Rama also said that the government is paying for the stay of Afghan immigrants.

"We made that gesture that was not a gesture calculated for any interest or what we will gain from this economically, because I said before we are paying for the stay of Afghan immigrants at our expense. I have heard all kinds of things that I could not even imagine in the Italian media what is hidden behind this agreement while we have not asked for a single euro, because at this moment we would not be: A friend and ally who is pronto at the moment when a great ally Italy says a can you give us a hand

What will the local economy gain here... we have not done this calculation. This is the truth. It is terrible that the awarding of tenders to Albanian malavitas has also been commented on. Everything is managed by the Italian government. There are no calculations of any nature, then whether it works or not or how they will be solved, time will prove. But it is an agreement of the heart in relation to a strategic friendship", Rama said during his speech.
