Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke for the first time about the plans of Donald Trump's son-in-law to invest in our country. The Prime Minister warned that the process has advanced and Sazani will probably be removed as a military zone very soon.
Invited to " Opinion ", Rama denied the accusations against Donald Trump. Once he did not say anything about him, while today when he was asked if this investment is made to calm relations with the former president, if he returns to the White House, Rama said that he has good relations with him.
" I have a good one that is also bad. It depends how you see it. I said what I think and I mean what I say. I said what I thought at that time when the President or the candidate then became President, they all celebrated as if they had come to power. That now we can't remove this and he removes it from us there. I don't have a relationship to rebuild with former President Trump and I had a very good relationship and I don't have to ask for a new relationship ," he said.
On the other hand, Rama tried not to mix his former friend, Charles Mcgonigal. The latter goes to companies and people who will invest in Sazan. But, Rama declared that Trump has declared him an enemy and it is unlikely that it is his hand.
" Trump has said you rot in hell. The conspiracy theory here is that thanks to me, or I have convinced Trump's son-in-law and McGonigal and he has decided to cooperate ," he said.
Speaking about Sazan, if the project is realized, the Prime Minister says that this island will become the jewel of tourism in the Mediterranean.

We do not yet have any project officially submitted for the Zvrnec part. A request has been officially submitted for Sazan by this group to make an investment in Sazan to transform Sazan into what my predecessors wished for, we have had 3-4 informal requests before from large investors that we have rejected , because there have not been approaches consistent with what we think, and in this case we hope that it will be the case that Sazani becomes the brightest jewel in the crown of Mediterranean tourism, a tourist destination, which will be a destination of the highest level high level of harmony between nature and human intervention and to bring consumers of the highest level of tourism in the world. The Prime Minister emphasizes that if this investment in Sazan is realized, it will bring world-class tourism, which translates into more income for the state budget.
