The fight within the PD has deepened even more, it seems, after the joint meeting between Berisha's group and the one that supports Gazment Bardhi after the latter's call.
In addition to the conciliatory messages of Bardhi and Berisha, who in principle spoke of a coordinated opposition action, during that meeting there were also some events that were not seen on the screen.
The sources indicate that even though he was invited there, Sali Berisha showed up at the meeting more than 20 minutes late, leaving the 43 DP deputies to wait for his entry into the hall.
Berisha is known to the public and his close circle as a man who respects schedules, plus he didn't have any other agenda at that moment, making his tardiness read as a message to the deputies.
Surprisingly, not even Gazment Bardhi started the meeting without Berisha going, provoking reactions among some deputies.
Sources indicate that Ferdinand Xhaferaj got up and ran away from the meeting while they were waiting for Berisha to arrive.
"If Berisha is going to give a message with this delay, let him give it to those who still want to wait for him, I'm leaving", Xhaferaj was heard by those present as he said to Bardhi, while he was being led to leave.
Meanwhile, the other deputies continued waiting for another 7 minutes and Berisha entered the hall with Flamur Noka by his side, causing Bardhi to start the meeting.
More than for the democrats, Berisha's action can also be read as a message for the internationals, to say that he is the one in control among the DP deputies and not Bardhi, which apparently was also allowed by Gazment Bardhi while waiting for minutes his arrival./ theme
