Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula said that unilateral processes are being carried out for the election of the new DP chairman. He stated that the members have been replaced with people who have no connection with politics, describing them as 'call center employees'.
Sula said that a fake process is being carried out in PD for the election of the new chairman and this, according to him, is leading the party to the abyss.
"I, together with all my colleagues, did not separate from Sali Berisha as others say, but because of the way and actions they did, violating the rules and the DP statute, by not competing. They have now completely bypassed the function of the general secretary and replaced them with unrelated individuals. If we look at it all it is a farce by a certain group of individuals that is now just to hold the Democratic Party hostage. There was no tension in the meeting. I say that Berisha got the big piece to keep, Basha will keep the small piece to keep. This is shameful. I and all my colleagues have no individual agenda. The Democrats, the PD must be unified and the Democrats must be together because otherwise Edi Rama, the regime will still remain in power. My colleagues and I will not become part of a farce and we never lick a chairman. We are the voice that made the opposition. A part of those who were in the meeting today, have no voice in parliament, in the media, do not oppose. If we were for luxury, we would lick the regime or Mr. Berisha and get positions, but this is not the way. They didn't do this, but it's all for personal interests."said Sula to 'News24'.
