The guards have placed a "fence" at the door of the Parliament and have not allowed the opposition MPs to enter the Parliament hall without first being checked.
When the PD MPs approached the door of the Assembly to enter the hall, they were confronted by a large number of guards, who stopped them in order to perform a detailed check.
The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, argued with the employees of the Republic Guard shortly before the start of the plenary session.
"Don't worry, you have turned it into a police state. Why did you bring these? Why do you exercise control? "Who are you?" he said.
The socialist MPs are going earlier to the Assembly, where the marathon session for the 2024 budget will be held, while Reestablishment has again warned of chaos and blocking of works.
Minister Taulant Balla, head of the SP Group, Bledi Çuçi and Socialist MP Toni Gogu are among the first to enter the premises of the Assembly, while the session is scheduled to start at 10:00.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has stated that the plenary session on Monday (November 20) is expected to be surrounded by special forces by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
