Gazment Bardhi, Flamur Noka, held an informal meeting a few days ago, where they discussed how the opposition can be united in a single coalition.
Meanwhile, today the chairman of the DP group, Gazment Bardhi, met with Flamur Noka from the side of Sali Berisha with Petrit Vasili from the Freedom Party, Fatmir Mediu, Agron Duka and Sali Shehu from the New Democratic Spirit.
The small opposition allies demand the merger of the three DP groups, but Sali Berisha's wing is against the merger with Lulzim Basha.
"We do not unite with those who did not oppose", Flamur Noka is reported to have said.
According to them, joining Basha in the Federation maximizes the opposition's vote, making it a complete alternative for the 2025 elections.
The negotiations come at a time when Sali Berisha is under house arrest and Gazment Bardhi's warning that spring will find the united opposition.
