Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has made serious accusations regarding the murder of Gilmando Dani in Rinas. He stated today that the incident is directly linked to state structures and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"This is the latest example. The Agasi office does not exist in reality, no. Can you imagine a prime minister who has the police, the army, the SHISH under his control, maintaining a crime office where he can summon ministers, summon judges, organize murders in the squares?" Berisha said.
Referring specifically to the murder in Rinas, Berisha declares that the murder was committed by police structures.
"Like Rinas, he was killed by police commandos. Ergys Agasi killed him, Edi Rama killed him," Berisha said.
According to him, it is unacceptable for a prime minister to exercise power in this way.
"Can a prime minister, a man of law, of the executive branch, maintain a crime office and on the one hand appear before the citizens and on the other hand wear the clothes of Ergys Agas and carry out acts that violate the law?" he said.
Berisha also raised allegations of personal financial gain. "He has embezzled millions of euros for his family. This is one aspect," the former prime minister declared.
The leader of the DP further described as contempt for citizens the fact that, according to him, the same person was in charge of appointing and dismissing ministers.
" The other, the most unimaginable, is the man who did these things, committed murders, dismissed and appointed ministers. There can be no greater contempt for Albanians," Berisha concluded.
