The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, declared that the next day he does not expect another decision from the court, except for the approval of the measure of house arrest.
In an interview for the show "No censorship" on RTSH, he emphasized that the whole process against him is politically motivated.
" How can you think otherwise, when the entire establishment of the gang dictatorship competed to see who would prove more zealous in their political revenge against Edi Rama. The process is Orwellian, it is Kafkaesian. The process showed all the ugliness of this regime, which has no laws, no morals ", said Berisha, who used harsher language than usual towards the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
Asked if Duman is a leftist, as Berisha says, or a pro-American, who follows a certain agenda of the American embassy?
Berisha answers: "As far as pro-Americanism is concerned, I cannot say what he represents, but he follows Edi Rama's agenda. In August, I denounced his two secret, unofficial meetings with Edi Rama. Met with him twice in the span of two weeks ."
During the interview, the leader of the opposition tried to convey to the supporters a spirit of optimism, even when he was asked if the eventual isolation could make it difficult for him to communicate with the electorate.
"On the contrary, it inspires me more. A battle is never won without inspiration. Inspiration is the energy of every victory. There are 120,000 ways to communicate this inspiration to the electorate. There are no walls, there are no obstacles that prevent the communication of ideals , "said Berisha.
He also warned of protests to oust Prime Minister Rama before the elections.
" Our protests will be civil disobedience. We have before us a gang dictatorship. Once upon a time, Enver Hoxha had the class war as an oppressive force of society, today Edi Rama has the alliance with crime as an oppressive force of society. The weapon to wake up the sleeping lion in the frightened citizens is the civil disobedience action ," he said.
