Opening up competition is more important than raising prices. This is what the chairman of the "Albania becomes" movement declared, as he unveiled the platform of this movement and the next steps.
In an interview for the show "Debat" on A2 CNN, Adriatik Lapaj stated that the high prices are the consequence, while the cause is the lack of competition and accountability.
" In this journey, Adriatik does not decide what the agenda is, we have clear principles, the journey is decided by the citizens. 5 citizens are not enough for the numbers. If they listen to us en masse then there may be new developments in this country. The opening of the race is more important than the price of the bean. Prices are the effect, we have to deal with the cause. I do not deal with the consequences, but with the cause and the mother of all problems is the lack of competition, the lack of accountability. The big political parties administer the elections, it's a fact that our immigrants don't have the opportunity to vote like immigrants from other countries ," he said.
Lapaj emphasized that the journey of his movement will continue in all regions of the country and in the Diaspora, for the democratization of the country and if the politicians do not reflect, it will be faced in the elections.
" We are starting with a journey to 62 municipalities and 21 destinations in the Diaspora to talk about these points for the democratization of the country and to create a spirit that imposes a different will. If the politicians of the armchairs of Tirana do not reflect this approach, we will face each other in the elections ", he said.
Describing the union in causes as the goal of his movement, Lapaj said that another important issue is the approval of the law on the referendum.
