Rama meets Zelensky, Albania supports Ukraine for joining NATO

Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, have signed a joint statement, where Albania supports Ukraine in NATO integration.

Before the meeting of the Security Council, there was a meeting between Rama and Zelensky. " I met with Edi Rama to thank Albania for supporting Ukraine, including within the Security Council. I am especially grateful to Albania for joining the G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. We also signed a joint statement on support for Ukraine's integration into NATO ," Zelensky writes.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president praised Rama for the debates he had today with the Russian ambassador to the UN.

" Dear Edi Rama, today at the UNSC you showed the world how to correctly deal with Russia, its lies and hypocrisy. I thank you for leading the Presidency in such a principled way ", he wrote on social networks.
