Democratic Party deputy Greta Bardeli said that the socialist majority is continuing to drag out the issue of Olta Xhaçka's mandate.
She stated that a full 15 months have passed since the day when the Constitutional Court gave its decision, while Edi Rama's majority drags the case on.
"Olta Xhaçka has not declared in the ILDKPI the status of the strategic investor that benefited from the decision of Edi Rama, her husband, while he was a minister.
Socialists are continuing to create barriers to protect a former minister of the Rama government. Xhaçka is being protected by her socialist colleagues and to end her mandate without getting a verdict" , said Bardeli for "Syri Tv".
According to the deputy, the socialists today asked for time to draw up the relationship, 48 hours, then they will aim to drag out this issue as much as possible, through parliamentary procedures, which means that they are trying to close her mandate as a deputy , in the months remaining until the next parliamentary elections.
Bardeli said that there are 11,000 m2 of land on the coast that Olta Xhaçka's husband has benefited from and this is a factual issue, while the former minister's colleagues are politically defending the deputy.
