The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, after failing to remove the stamp from Great Britain, has announced an emergency conference on the issue of being declared "non grata" by England.
On July 22, 2022, after the declaration of non-grata by Great Britain, Berisha said that he would appeal the decision with the argument that, unlike the USA, Britain recognizes European law and recognizes the law of the Strasbourg Court.
Now, when almost a year has passed since Berisha appealed that decision, it seems that the British have rejected it, and with this emergency conference, nothing else is expected but the start of arguments with the British ambassador, Alastair King-Smith.
A person whom Berisha accuses of bringing sanctions from Britain because of the shameful slanders that, according to him, Alistar received from Erion Veliaj, Lulzim Basha and Edi Rama and then sent to his government in London.
But his lies and claims regarding the non-grata issue seem to have come to an end. After the failure with the lobbying in America and the failure with the appeal of the case in Britain, the former prime minister seems to have just accepted the 'death' of his cause by calling an emergency conference that has no value.
