The former Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, reacted through a post on social networks for the first time after his dismissal.
Çuçi said that public functions are temporary and that what remains is work and service to citizens.
He added that he believes that his successor, Taulant Balla, together with his team, will advance the work in this institution.
"Public functions are temporary. What remains and has indelible value is the work and service to the citizens who always expect and deserve more from us. Today, I handed Taulanti an #ExitMemo with the 2023 priorities of the Ministry of the Interior, with the conviction that together with his team, he will advance the work in this very important institution", says Bledi Çuçi.
Taulant Balla was sworn in yesterday before the President of the Republic as Minister of the Interior. His appointment at the head of this department came after the dismissal of Bledi Çuçi.
Dismissal caused by the incident in Fushë Krujë, where the Rraja tribe committed violence against two Mayan cousins. Taulant Balla is an important figure in the Socialist Party, who entered politics in 2005 as a deputy of the SP, while he did not hold any ministerial position earlier, except for replacing Gramoz Ruçin as General Secretary.
