The Socialist leaders of the Parliamentary Committees, along with the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi, have been summoned to a meeting by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The meeting was held at government villa 30, and it is reported that Rama asked the heads of the Parliamentary Committees led by the Socialist Party, as well as the Socialist deputy chairmen in those Committees led by the opposition, to advance the parliamentary agenda, without blocking the proceedings at any time.

It is learned that Rama was firm when he asked the Socialist MPs to approve as a priority those laws that are considered key in relation to the integration processes. He also requested that the Assembly approve the establishment of two special committees as soon as possible, the Electoral Reform Committee and the Territorial Reform Committee.

It seems that with the instructions he has given to the Chairmen of the Parliamentary Committees, Rama has made the next move to prevent the blocking of the activities of the committees, despite the positions held by the opposition.

In this context, it is learned that the Prime Minister has stated that the majority's agenda cannot be blocked or held hostage by the opposition's positions.

The Socialist leaders of the Parliamentary Committees are: Milva Ekonomi, Ulsi Manja, Bledi Çuçi, Anila Denaj, Blendi Klosi, Igli Hasani and Fatmir Xhafaj. Meanwhile, the Special Parliamentary Committees will be led by Damian Gjiknuri and Arbjan Mazniku.

Rama's meeting with the heads of the Parliamentary Committees comes at a time when the opposition has been making accusations about the way Niko Peleshi is administering the functioning of the Assembly, even presenting a motion for his dismissal. Tensions in the Assembly increased in the second session, when Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government were to be voted on. The reason was a provocation that Rama made in the session, passing the floor to 'Diella', the minister created by Artificial Intelligence, while the opposition fell into the trap set up.
