Democratic leader Sali Berisha, from the Parliament podium, focused on the call center activity, for which he said that their real boss is Olsi Rama, the brother of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Berisha's statements come after several simultaneous operations, sometimes by SPAK and sometimes by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, against call centers that operate illegally and defraud European citizens, generating profits of millions of euros.
Berisha said that these days, in the cities of Albania, hundreds and hundreds of so-called call centers are stealing day and night from pensioners from countries that have made extraordinary contributions, who have contributed billions, billions, billions to this country for these citizens.
"Real hyenas from crime halls protected by the state are deceiving and robbing pensioners in Italy, Austria, Germany, Spain, in an activity that is completely protected by the state. In an activity in which state structures from the police to the highest level are a shield."
In an activity that involves everyone from the chief of the police station who receives the minimum salary of 5 thousand euros per month from the call center, to the brother of the prime minister who is de facto, according to foreign sources and the country itself, their main boss.
"In this criminal activity, in which there are call centers that fraudulently steal 30 million euros from pensioners in other countries in a week, there is coordination from the highest levels at the prosecution, at the courts, at the police," said the Democrat leader.
He further emphasized that only Olsi Rama's legal partner, Olta Xhaçka's official advisor, Amant Josifi, was the main exponent in Albania of the Milton group that has stolen at least 2.2 billion euros.
"Ardian Çela, when he headed OSHEE, declared that there are two cesspools that are sucking up energy, one is the cesspool of Bitcoin and the other is the cesspool of cannabis, the weed houses," said Berisha.
