Ilir Meta asked for freedom in the Appeal of GJKKO, Gjokutaj: The measure against him has no criteria to be decided, we have the report ready for the police

Attorney Genc Gjokutaj has filed the request for the release of the President of the PL, Ilir Meta, in the GJKKO Appeal.

In a statement to journalists, the lawyer said that there is no general or special criteria for Ilir Meta to be assigned that measure.

"Our position is against the request of SPAK and the court that assigned this measure. This measure does not have any general or special criteria to be decided. Even from a reasonable doubt point of view that must be based on evidence, I can say that this is a hearsay decision.

In the three proceedings, which they joined together, even in the part of non-declaration of assets, the situation is completely different and at the moment we are investigating this part, we cannot reveal more. We have the report ready for the police, but the information from the police will help us for a report," said the lawyer.
