A day after the incidents that occurred in the Albanian Parliament, where DP deputies reacted harshly after Taulant Balla's insults towards Albana Vokshi, the Socialist Parliamentary Group demands punitive measures for the two Democratic lawmakers, Gazment Bardhi and Klevis Balliu.
In an official request addressed to the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi, the SP Group requests that Bardhi be excluded from the proceedings of the Assembly for 10 days, while Balliu for 30 days.
The two Democrats, according to the Socialists, have obstructed the proceedings of Parliament by blocking the floor and using inappropriate language.
For the Socialists, the Democratic MPs, with their constant interventions, interrupting the speech of the Head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group several times, not even waiting for the intervention of the chair of the session, who according to the regulation, is the only authority that interprets the parliamentary procedure, have committed a violation of this regulation.
According to the request of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi has used offensive and threatening words, while Klevis Balliu is accused of aggressive behavior and damaging equipment in the hall, including the microphone and voting system.
Based on these claims, also using film footage, the socialists demand:
-Exclusion of Gazment Bardhi from committees and plenary sessions for 10 days, for obstructing the conduct of the session and using offensive language;
-Expulsion of Klevis Balliu for 30 days, arguing that he has displayed aggressive behavior and damaged the equipment of the Assembly hall .
The Democratic Party also requested the expulsion of Socialist MP Taulant Balla from Parliament for 60 days, accusing him of using unacceptable language towards Democratic MP Albana Vokshi.
