Shkruar nga PamfletiFormer Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has reacted for the first time to the investigation being conducted by SPAK under her supervision.
Prime Minister Edi Rama convened the new government cabinet this Friday, March 6, immediately after the swearing-in of the new ministers.
As the first meeting of ministers after the changes in the Government is taking place, Belinda Balluku has passed the baton to the new minister Enea Karakaçi.
In a press statement, Balluku states that a public trial is being held against her and that she has neither yachts nor 300 apartments as has been said in the media.
"I believe that every legal issue is not resolved on social media or in media outlets, but must take its course as provided for by the constitution or law. I have chosen not to analyze, not to comment, and to be consistent in my stance regarding justice."

That reform was carried out to restore citizens' trust in a fair justice system. I believe in this justice system, I will not anathematize when this justice system affects my personal interests.

I have never hindered the investigation that has been going on for months, neither in my position as a minister nor as a citizen of the republic. Let it continue to uncover the truth. I have neither 300 nor 30 apartments.
I have neither limousines nor yachts nor helicopters. All of these are part of a public trial that is done with the greatest ease, but to be honest, I grew up with public trials. Maybe my back is holding up because I have been trained and seasoned since I was little. I know how to do my job. I have burdened the Albanian government with a burden that it does not deserve because of the results that this government has brought," Balluku said.
