The candidate of the opposition coalition PD-ASHM in the Tirana district, Tedi Blushi, has commented on the atmosphere of the May 11 electoral campaign. He stated that despite the challenges, the coalition is more united than ever.
Blushi also spoke about PL president Ilir Meta, saying that he is a figure who continues to inspire supporters even in conditions of isolation.
"Ilir Meta is campaigning in conditions of extreme isolation, communicating through letters with his supporters. He has turned his cell into a trench against the regime and his sacrifice is an inspiration to all supporters of the Freedom Party," he told "News 24".
Regarding Monika Kryemadhi's recent statements against him, Blushi chose to remain more indifferent.
"I do not want to comment on any kind of provocation, especially in the last days of the campaign. Everyone knows who I am and my lifestyle is modest. Our campaign will be crowned with a magnificent victory," he said.
Blushi also said that despite the attacks, the common goal is clear: the overthrow of the current government and the restoration of democracy . "We are on a common front ," he concluded.
