From a meeting with citizens in Mat, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of irresponsible appointments and gross misgovernance.
At the center of his attack was the political leader of the Socialist Party in Dibër, Blendi Klosi, whom Berisha described as "the chief gambler of Albania" and accused of "gambling with apartments."
He also mentioned other names such as Agron Malaj, saying that Rama is being surrounded by corrupt and hopeless figures. “Your race will have the place it deserves,” Berisha said, promising punishment for all those who, according to him, have abused power.
"Edi Rama, you are hopeless. You have introduced yourself, Agron Malaj, Lubi Balluku, you have brought in Albania's chief gambler Blendi Klosi. Where is he? His leader in Dibër, the man who gambles with apartments. Your race will have the place it deserves ," Berisha said.
