The leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, ruled out any kind of cooperation after the May 11 elections with forces that do not support the 3 non-negotiable points announced in the KEA program: The fight against corruption, unconditional support for SPAL, and alignment with international strategic partners.
He described the $6 million lobbying contract of the DP-ADSHM with the American company "Continental" as a "contract for the personal troubles of Sali Berisha's family", which now many Democrats understood the truth, calling on them to support the Euro-Atlantic Coalition on May 11, as it was the real DP.
He stated that KEA does not have "goat meat" in its candidate lists, as Berisha's DP has introduced, with former judges and prosecutors dismissed by Vetting (referring to judge Sheikh Gjin Gjoni and former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja), with Ilir Meta and Elvis Roshi.
"Whoever votes for number 1, gets Meta out of jail and makes him an MP, Elvis Roshi and the dismissed judges and prosecutors from vetting, and releases Rama's friends from 313," Basha said.
He also explained the reason why the two major forces did not want electronic voting.
"Identification should have been done with fingerprints, since the data is secured and electronic counting was possible, as in other countries. The opposite happened, with mismanagement and this is a trick. We see the consequences with what happened in Greece. However, we have continued our work in meetings with the diaspora in all countries such as England, Italy, Greece, Germany, etc. We have the goodwill of people who want change, since for 4 years there has been more corruption and poverty. There can be no recycling of the old ways. The fight as Berisha announces is not being waged with either Ilir Meta or Elvis Roshi on the lists of candidates for deputies," Basha said for "Report TV".
Asked about the DP's $6 billion lobbying contract, Basha said: "Everything is done to hide a truth that they can no longer hide, the personal plight of Berisha's family and the other side of the secret agreements between Rama and Berisha. If they vote for Rama and the number 5, it is to get Rama's friends out of the 313, if they vote for the number 1, they will get Ilir Meta out of prison and make him an MP. The Democrats now understand who the real DP is."
