Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha continues not to take a single step back regarding the threats against journalists.
A day ago he threatened all those who publish facts from his affair file and do not go according to the dance. A little while ago, he came out with a reaction to clarify his position, but in fact it does the opposite. Sali Berisha increases the dose of threats and does not apologize at all. He even admits that he threatened journalists yesterday and did the same thing today. Whoever tells fate as it is, is a criminal. According to Saliu, good journalists are those who work at RD, Syri and other media outlets of his family.
" But I don't deny that in my statement yesterday there is a threat and this threat is the same for every person who has committed a crime and specifically I stated: 'I find that some of them (I mean journalists) are abused in an extreme way from Skapi. They abuse that they are really taken hostage and I will prove it to them. With this I tell you this much; I will treat them the same as members of the criminal organization, Skapi of the party.' It is clear that here I am not talking about real journalists, but about delinquent individuals who have been proven as criminals even by justice, but instead of legal punishment for the crime they have committed, they are held hostage by Dumani to abuse them as he wants. I think that these people have nothing in common with the journalist, but they are criminals who occupy wells just like ordinary thieves to rob this or that citizen or businessman ", writes Berisha.

Some media out of misunderstanding, but also some malice, have taken as a threat my reaction to the media yesterday in which I expressed the following: see (1). Regarding these misunderstandings, I clarify the following:
I have never threatened and never threaten journalists, I have always appreciated and value the mission of journalists and today I am very aware of their major role and their almost extraordinary difficulties in carrying out their duties under the conditions of the narco-state. My reaction has absolutely nothing to do with the personal attacks on me by any journalist. I expressed this clearly yesterday by saying that: 'I greatly appreciate their (journalists) engagement in the debate about this file (my political indictment against me) and about everything, and I guarantee that they always have my respect, regardless of the editorial line that can follow'. In accordance with this position, it has never happened that a journalist called me or on my behalf "why did you attack Berisha".
In my statement, I raised my voice only in defense of the dignity and professionalism of the journalist and not categorically why they are reading the indictment of the party leadership against me, because I have long ago publicly declared that I myself would immediately make public that fraud pyramid if not the names of hundreds of people living and no longer were there. But my reaction is related first of all to the fact that for the sake of his profession and the obligations he has towards the public, I believe that the loyal journalist of his profession cannot act as an unpaid spokesman for Spak or any other institution because the taxpayers pay spokespersons and press office to the cabinet and other institutions
In my opinion, a journalist who serves his profession can never become a spokesperson for this or that institution because it proves that he is totally under his control and is no longer a spokesperson for his profession and the public interest. I estimate that this path would be the path of destroying free media. That's why I invited journalists to implement their code in their best interest, which requires them to be objective in their information, that is, open to all sources or, in this case, parties.
This is the crux of my reaction and concern.

I greatly appreciate their engagement in the debate on this file and on everything, and I assure them that they always have my respect, regardless of the editorial line they may follow. But in this case, I have to say two things to you journalists. I find that most of them are abused in an extreme way by Skapi. They abuse that they are really taken hostage and I will prove it to them. With this I tell you this much; I will treat the same as members of the criminal organization, Skapi of the party. With others who are professionals, contribute every day, I think it is in their dignity to take the courage, when they read passages of the pyramid of fraud, to ask Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltez questions that it is in the code of journalists how the truth lies . We are ready to answer any questions they have, so they don't become victims of misused material, a political crime.
