DP MP Flamur Noka and SP MP Ardit Bido were involved in a debate during the meeting of the Internal Affairs Committee.
Noka began his speech by accusing the majority regarding the 2026 draft budget for the National Civil Emergencies Agency.
He said of Bido that 'while Delvina was burning, the MP was writing poetry about the government and posting photos of firefighters putting out the flames with fire extinguishers.' The socialist responded by saying 'I was expecting you to be there when the fires started.'
Excerpts from the debate:
Noka : How do you explain that bridges built under your rule, less than two years old, still need to be rebuilt because the river is taking them? Why, in 12 years of power, has not a single DP embankment broken or collapsed? Not even a single bridge collapsed. Why? Because we have a government that does not focus on the citizen. Go to Germany and you have Hitler's roads; here, less than 3 years old, they need to be rebuilt. Did you even see the tunnel? You see Qukës Road, it was inaugurated and now it's gone. The Delvina MP is writing poems about the government, while Delvina burned down, and he was filming some firefighters putting out fires with birch trees. The climatic conditions are not only in Albania; here is North Macedonia and Kosovo. Why don't they happen? Because they have responsible governments.
Bido: I expected you to be there when the fires started. Flamur also has connections in Saranda. As a Sarandët, I expected you to be there. I also took Hasimë out of the yard of his house, because it was burned. Come here to write party poetry, to show which party is good and which is bad. I expected you to join my request to increase funds in the Municipality of Delvinë.
Bido: From neo-Nazis, you became Nazis and defend Hitler.
Noka: Gjopa's problem makes you jump, it's a big problem, Gjipe.
Bido: It's such a big deal that they voted for my name and not yours.
